Eversource presents plans for electrical grid upgrades, without fossil fuels

Eversource has announced its first draft of improvements it hopes to make to the state’s electrical grid, boosting clean energy production and reducing the use of fossil fuels.
The final plan — which will meet company requirements under the commonwealth’s 2050 decarbonization goals — will be submitted to the state Department of Public Utilities in January.
