Conference Producer

Our Producers manage and organize their own event portfolios, recruit senior industry speakers, network with subject matter experts to develop educational content, and facilitate excellent in-person and virtual events. If you are an energetic, driven, and intellectually curious person with a background in project management, journalism, or marketing you may be a good fit for this position. A background in speaker recruitment or content creation, and knowledge of the following sectors is a plus: energy (electric, oil & gas), water/wastewater or infrastructure. Our producers create educational conferences, training courses, and webinars for professionals in these sectors. Join our EUCI team! Some of the things you will be doing in this role:
  • Actively conduct market and topic research, as well as identify market trends, target audiences, industry changes, and conference topic opportunities
  • Conduct phone interviews with subject matter experts and deliver summaries of key points learned from research to make recommendations on identified topics/locations/timing for events
  • Cultivate educational content through the creation of detailed event agendas and engaging marketing materials
  • Recruit and acquire highly credible, senior-level speakers and subject matter experts from leading industry companies to give in-person and virtual presentations at events
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure quality production and financial success for all assigned events
  • Responsible for the commercial performance of your portfolio of events and the optimization of existing events
  • Execute and manage events on-site and online
  • Convey compelling new ideas to senior decision makers that ensure cost effective and high-quality conferences, with costs maintained within or below budget
What you need to be successful in the role:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong research techniques and excellent organizational skills are a must
  • Ability and desire to educate yourself quickly on topics, issues and new developments in subject matter area
  • Ability to juggle several events / projects simultaneously
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail while understanding the bigger picture is a must
  • Good managerial and marketing skills, creativity, and sharp technical knowledge to help meet your deadlines and to maintain public relationships
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both written and oral) for maintaining relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the energy sector, infrastructure, water/wastewater, aerospace, or technology preferred.
  • Experience planning, producing and hosting corporate training programs or conferences.

Marketing/Sales Assistant

Some functions include: Sales: This is not your every-day sales job. Due to our focus on training and education, we want you to develop a strong relationship with a core group of industry representatives. Many of these people will be senior level and you will be the voice of our company. Marketing: Through internet searches and other data entry efforts, you will help grow and clean our marketing database by filling in missing prospective contact information and finding new prospects along with contacting potential attendees. The ideal candidate will have a background in event sponsorship sales, possess strong skills in sales management, account management, and lead generation, with a focus on B2B markets. If you have a passion for marketing and a proven track record in direct sales, we want to hear from you. A hybrid work option is available after 6 months.

Junior Process & Analytics Associate

EUCI, a 35+ year leading provider of conferences, seminars, workshops and courses designed for the energy/oil & gas/infrastructure/water & wastewater industries is branching out and seeking hard-working people to play a key supporting role in our team. Some functions include: Marketing: Through internet searches and other data entry efforts, you will help grow and clean our marketing database by filling in missing prospective contact information and finding new prospects to reach out to regarding our events. Analytics/Process Automation: Once proficient in identifying/coding and adding prospects into our database you would be analyzing this data, identifying key areas of growth, what is lacking, improvements, etc. and working with both the Director of Marketing and the IT Director to relay findings. Additionally, reviewing our processes and automating any systems that can become more efficient. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analytics and process automation, possess strong skills in lead generation, with a focus on B2B markets, have a keen eye for detail, and be self-motivated. A hybrid work option is available after 6 months.
