Openings:
Marketing Assistant
Through internet searches and other data entry efforts, you will help grow and clean our marketing database by filling in missing prospective contact information and finding new prospects along with clerical duties as needed (filing, copying, mailing, etc). This job provides flexible working hours in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Online research to verify accuracy of database contacts
- Researching/validating potential attendees for follow up contacting (via phone/email)
- List addition/Data entry and research from variety of print and online resources [Conduct data entry and research of senior management in major companies across different industries from variety of print and online resources]
- Prospect list refinement/Prospect list building [Identify key personnel from target companies and extract key contact details (name, job title, email, phone number, state), ensuring information in the marketing database is accurate, high quality, and effectively maintained]
- Additional duties as assigned and based on skillset
May include – Identifying and working with media and supporting organizations to enhance brand awareness with target audiences and helping with event marketing
Required skills:
- Interest in the industry fields we work in and interest in learning more about the industries
- Self-motivated and outgoing
- Experience with web surfing/research, data entry
- Willingness to research companies / contact potential attendees via phone/email
- Detail-oriented
- High-accuracy & high-speed typing (60 wpm +)
- Comfortable with computers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Use of Adobe suite of products
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ experience working in a professional setting and experience searching the internet
