Carmen Seal brings over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in corrosion control, metallurgical analysis, pipeline integrity engineering, and program management. Throughout her career, she has supported and led numerous state and federal regulatory audits, including playing a key role in the NTSB investigation of a major pipeline failure.
Ms. Seal began her career as a corrosion engineer for ExxonMobil, overseeing all upstream production in the U.S. She later served as a senior pipeline integrity engineer for Enterprise Products, where she was responsible for managing the NTSB investigation into the Dixie Pipeline long-seam failure in Carmichael, Mississippi. Most recently, she retired from CITGO Petroleum, where she managed the Pipeline Integrity Program for Terminals and Pipelines and supported the Integrity Management Program for their refineries.
In addition to her professional roles across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations for three major petroleum operators, Ms. Seal has been an active member of the API Pipeline Integrity Group for the past decade.
