Petrochemical Process Engineering 101

Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 24 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations must be received on or before September 11, 2026 in order to be refunded and will be subject to a US $195.00 processing fee per registrant. No refunds will be made after this date. Cancellations received after this date will create a credit of the tuition (less processing fee) good toward any other EUCI event. This credit will be good for six months from the cancellation date. In the event of non-attendance, all registration fees will be forfeited. In case of conference cancellation, EUCIs liability is limited to refund of the event registration fee only. Behnam Soleymani is a Chemical and Process Engineer with more than 14 years of experience in the oil, gas, refining, and petrochemical industries. Throughout his career, he has worked across EPC firms, consulting organizations, and operating facilities, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of engineering design, project execution, commissioning, and plant operations.

Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, Behnam has contributed to major refining, gas processing, and petrochemical projects throughout various stages of the facility lifecycle. His broad industry experience gives him a practical perspective on how engineering principles are applied in real-world environments.

In addition to his industry experience, Behnam has a longstanding passion for education and mentoring. He has served as an instructor at both the university and professional levels, including teaching Reactor Design and Engineering at Christian Brothers University. By combining extensive industry experience with years of teaching and mentoring, Behnam helps engineers bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, providing insights that can be immediately applied in engineering and operating environments.
