Attendees will explore how system intent influences equipment configuration, fuel and technology selection, reliability, and generator sizing, with real-world applications demonstrating how these fundamentals apply to emerging large-load challenges, including data centers and other mission-critical facilities. Your registration may be transferred to a member of your organization up to 24 hours in advance of the event. Cancellations must be received on or before August 21, 2026 in order to be refunded and will be subject to a US $195.00 processing fee per registrant. No refunds will be made after this date. Cancellations received after this date will create a credit of the tuition (less processing fee) good toward any other EUCI event. This credit will be good for six months from the cancellation date. In the event of non-attendance, all registration fees will be forfeited. In case of conference cancellation, EUCIs liability is limited to refund of the event registration fee only. Daniel Barbersek is the Director of Business Development for Mid-America Engine and former Chairman of the Electrical Generating Systems Association. With more than 40 years of experience in the power generation industry, he brings extensive knowledge of onsite power systems, distributed generation, and critical power infrastructure across a wide range of applications and operating environments.

Throughout his career, Daniel has worked across engineering support, power system strategy, business development, and operational planning with organizations including Aksa Power Generation, Generac Power Systems, and Waukesha Pearce Industries. His experience spans emergency standby systems, prime power applications, paralleling systems, fuel selection, and complex onsite generation configurations.

Known for his practical and system-level perspective, Daniel has spent decades helping organizations navigate the technical and operational complexities surrounding onsite power generation, including system intent, reliability, equipment configuration, and long-term performance considerations.
