Duke Energy to lay off employees as part of ‘clean energy transition’

A Duke Energy spokesperson confirmed that the Charlotte-based utility company will be laying off employees as part of a “clean energy transition.”
The company did not specify how many employees will be laid off, or which states or locations the layoffs will occur.
