Appalachian Power, along with Wheeling Power, has requested to recover costs connected to renewable energy projects within service areas.
The request was filed Friday with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia and includes a wind facility in Ohio and seven solar facilities, according to a news release from Appalachian Power.
