This session will talk about Wind Catcher and lessons learned from the process. American Electric Power’s $4.5 billion Wind Catcher includes the nation’s largest wind energy facility and a dedicated tie-line to efficiently deliver the wind energy to customers. The unique treatment of two projects – the wind farm and the transmission system – as one is a coordinated approach that will speed approval and completion times for future projects across the country.
