Unmanned Systems Fundamentals: Managing Your Drone Program

Unmanned Systems Fundamentals: Managing Your Drone Program

July 26-27, 2022 | Online :: Central Time

“EUCI brings together experts to help inform and educate in a way which is relevant to industry participants.” Solutions Architect, Sharper Shape

Unmanned Systems continue to prove themselves as an essential service to the energy industry. A growing number of utilities have benefited from adopting drones and other unmanned systems to inspect transmission and distribution infrastructure, generation facilities, renewable infrastructure, and other operations as they seek to increase efficiency, aid in asset management, cut costs, and improve worker safety.

This course will present a survey of concepts and practical materials for operating Unmanned Systems with applications for Utilities.  This program will cover the fundamental elements of a successful drone program including what you should know about the possibilities, uses of and how to implement a program. Participants will learn mission planning, UAV operations, field data collection procedures, data processing, and data analysis. Legal, ethical considerations, and economic advantages will be reviewed for a utility application as well.

Attendees will benefit directly from discussions on the beneficial use of unmanned systems through the course material and be able to directly apply this knowledge at their workplace.
