Application for Permit to Drill 101
January 25, 2019 | Denver, CO
BLM approval of an Application for Permit to Drill (APD) is a requirement before an E&P company may begin drilling on a federal oil and gas lease. This course will provide practical, “boots on the ground” expertise focused on how to apply for an APD. It will cover notices of staking, the onsite meeting, and detail important information for completing the APD process. The instructors will discuss the surface use plan of operations as well as the drilling plan. Attendees will walk away from the course with tips on how to expedite the permitting process.
Often, including particular information and working closely with government representatives can help move the permitting process forward.
